Minh Vu is an architecture student entering his senior year at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Minh is passionate about using design as a tool for meaningful change. He believes that architecture has the power to shape how people feel, interact, and experience the world around them. Inspired by people and their stories, Minh’s work centers on creating spaces that are welcoming, inclusive, rooted in culture, identity, and community.

Minh approaches design with an “I can do anything” mentality, always eager to take on new challenges and learning opportunities. Whether working independently or collaborating with others, Minh brings positive energy, adaptability, and a strong sense of responsibility to the table. Colleagues often describe Minh as quick to learn, thoughtful, and driven as someone who sets high standards and pushes to deliver impactful work.

Choosing architecture was a decision rooted in the desire to uplift others through design. He believes that thoughtful, responsive architecture can honor the needs of communities, reflect shared histories, and foster a sense of belonging. For Minh, every design decision is a chance to support and empower the people who inhabit the space.

He connects with ESG’s emphasis on hospitality across all project types by bringing a people-centered mindset to every project, always thinking about how design decisions affect those who use the space.
