Lynn is often referred to as ESG’s “secret weapon.” Her ability to coolly and efficiently take on, trouble shoot, problem solve and streamline challenging projects—while producing clear and clean documents—has resulted in her elevation to a leadership position in the workplace practice group. “They’d like to clone me,” Lynn says of her colleague in ESG’s other sectors.
In her almost 20 years at ESG, Lynn has also worked in student and senior housing, hospitality, and multifamily residential. Self-motivated and an independent thinker, Lynn thoroughly coordinates all aspects of a building project. In her new leadership role, she oversees other designers in the art of crafting plans, elevations, sections and details; implementing building code and accessibility requirements; reviewing plans for compliance and coordination; and coordinating drawings with mechanical, electrical and structural consultants—when she’s not doing this critical work herself, of course.
With her singular focus, and ability to simultaneously balance all of a project’s requirements and priorities, Lynn produces a holistic vision of a project that leads to its successful construction. As a construction administrator, she communicates with contractors, reviews shop drawings, answering RFIs and prepares ASIs. She is also in an integral part of the ESG’s Revit standards committee.
