Joanna has over 12 years of experience in architectural design, permitting and planning, project management, and construction administration. After earning her B.S. Arch from the University of Minnesota, Joanna completed the University of Hawaii’s Doctor of Architecture program where she developed her passion for community-enriching, sustainable design. Joanna joined ESG in 2019, bringing a wealth of knowledge from her various board leadership roles. She was recently a director on the AIA Honolulu Board of Directors and also served as chair of the AIA Honolulu’s Professional Development Committee. She recently completed a two-year term as president of the USGBC Hawaii, having served 5 years on its board.
