Joel is focused on enhancing the human experience through creative design. He is a team player with the unique ability to combine strong technical skills with highly creative thinking. He takes great interest in building technologies, understanding how buildings go together and respond to their context, and the process by which a design becomes reality. He believes that buildings should relate to their surroundings and should better the community as a whole by offering a variety of uses with active, pedestrian-friendly streetscapes. On design teams, he is organized, task-oriented and efficient with architectural software, all the while thinking about the bigger picture and offering thoughtful solutions that meet the clients’ vision and respect the project budget. He is currently seeking his architectural license through the Intern Development Process (IDP), while contributing his valuable skill sets to a wide range of ESG project teams.
