UChicago Science Incubator, Hyde Park Labs

A unique partnership between Portal Innovations, the Polsky Center and the University of Chicago, the UChicago Science Incubator provides state-of-the-art laboratory space and first class amenities for early stage life sciences, quantum, clean energy, and data science companies. The design incorporates the successful lab planning model developed at other Portal Innovations locations and overlays that with a rich design language unique to the University of Chicago and its important connection to the surrounding Hyde Park neighborhood. The incubator, first of its kind in Chicago, will help launch companies and build the research ecosystem near the University and in the heart of the South Side.
