Vintage on Selby

ABOUT

The Vintage on Selby is a redevelopment of the Liberty State Bank site at the corner of Snelling and Selby Avenues in St. Paul into upscale apartments atop a new 40,000 SF Whole Foods Market. Completed in fall 2015, The Vintage on Selby offers a variety of rental living options including studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments, penthouse apartments, and private entry townhomes. Amenities include club room, fitness club, coffee bar, conference space, rooftop terrace and fireplace, outdoor lap pool, secure dog run area and a 10,000 square foot natural turf lawn. The design team incorporated time-honored architectural details like feature walls with traditional mouldings and trim with colorful and dramatic modern fixtures, furnishings, artwork and accessories. The team also payed homage to the pre-existing bank by using reclaimed elements such as the vault doors and safety deposit boxes in fresh and surprising ways. The amenity spaces all bleed together creating smooth transitions and an interconnected flow that ties everything together beautifully. Sustainable features include climate controlled parking for tenants and retail guests, electric vehicle charging stations and bike storage, with very close proximity to Nice Ride bike rental stations, the LRT Green Line and Bus Rapid Transit. A great deal of thought was given to the even the tiniest details and the result feels timeless and current all at once.
