The Smack Shack food concept started its cult-like following as both a mobile food truck and stand-in foodservice for a local Northeast Minneapolis bar. It only seemed natural that they capitalize on their award-winning lobster-based menu and expand into a large scale, casual New England-style seafood restaurant in the historic warehouse district of Minneapolis. Creating a neighborhood vibe, where everyone feels welcome to come as they are to enjoy great food and drink, was essential for the Smack Shack concept.
