ABOUT

ESG’s extensive role in returning the city’s attention to the Mississippi River and its historic Mill District by repairing the surrounding urban fabric includes designing the new American Academy of Neurology (AAN) global headquarters. Located on a formerly vacant, linear, corner parcel, the modern stone, steel and glass building includes an outdoor Sensory Garden for the public to enjoy. Primarily an office building, the structure also includes a fitness facility and glass-walled reception/gallery space on the first floor. The 5th floor is set back from the corner to accommodate a rooftop terrace—adjacent to the employee café and other meeting rooms—with panoramic views of the river.
