ARCHITECTURAL DESIGINER IV

ESG currently has an opening for an Architectural Designer IV. This is a lead designer position and requires the ability to work in InDesign, Photoshop, Enscape, and Revit.  We are looking for someone with a graphic eye, an understanding of architectural design and great communication skills. ESG team members are currently working remotely, so a person would need to be able to work independently and reach out when they have questions or need guidance.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Study site feasibility of prospective development sites and generate fit plans using Revit and SketchUp
  • Lead the project design effort throughout all design phases
  • Serve as a project liaison throughout city review and approval process
  • Oversee the production of project presentations and provide guidance and overall direction
  • Guide the development of rendered plans, elevations and 3D views by various team members

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture
  • 6+ years professional experience
  • Proficient knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Enscape and Revit
  • Strong graphics and presentation skills
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, building construction, building systems and site requirements
  • Ability to provide efficient and elegant design solutions
  • High level of conceptual creativity, innovative thinking and problem solving
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to have a solid working relationship with team members

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER III

ESG currently has an opening for an Architectural Designer III. This position is design-focused and requires the ability to work in InDesign, Photoshop, Enscape, and Revit. We are looking for someone with a graphic eye, an understanding of architectural design and great communication skills. ESG team members are currently working remotely, so a person would need to be able to work independently and reach out when they have questions or need guidance.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Study prospective development sites and develop building fit plans using Revit and SketchUp
  • Collaborate with team members to generate building design ideas throughout concept development phase and city review/approval process
  • Render plans, elevations and 3D views using Enscape and Photoshop and create project presentations using InDesign
  • Ensure project design intent is translated from schematic design through the construction documents phase
  • Support project team with documentation and detailing, as needed

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER II

ESG currently has an opening for an Architectural Designer II. This position requires the ability to work in InDesign, Photoshop, Enscape, and Revit from the start, with additional programs that can be learned on the job. We are looking for someone with a graphic eye, an understanding of architectural design and great communication skills. ESG team members are currently working remotely, so a person would need to be able to work independently and reach out when they have questions or need guidance.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist project designers with concept development and documentation throughout city review and approval process
  • Create project presentations using InDesign 
  • Render plans, elevations and 3D views using Enscape and Photoshop
  • Produce fit plans for prospective development sites using Revit and SketchUp
  • Clean up mark-up/redlines on documents, using computer modeling software
  • Assist in preparing documents from schematic design through construction documents phase  

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture
  • 2-3 years professional experience
  • Proficient knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Enscape and Revit
  • Strong graphics and presentation skills

INTERIOR DESIGNER IV

ESG currently has an opening for a talented Interior Designer level 4 or Associate level Designer with a minimum of 5+ years of professional experience, competent in covering a wide variety of tasks centered on the interior design process through all phases of design documentation, from conceptual design through construction administration. ESG team members are currently working in hybrid status, so a person would need to be able to work independently and collaboratively reach out when they have questions to succeed.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration with interdisciplinary team on multiple projects and project types.
  • Leading projects through the interior design process, from programming, concept design, design development, construction documents and construction administration while collaborating and with design director, Partner in charge, and delegating with teammates, and consultants.
  • Helps to manage budgets, schedules and other project management and business related priorities on projects
  • Works directly with clients, contractors, consultants, vendors, and other team members
  • Helps to oversee the design for the project and to maintain the project’s overall design direction
  • Development and delivery of budgets, selections, specifications and staging of furnishings, art and accessories
  • Helps to mentor staff
  • Development and Delivery of 3D models and renderings in Revit/Enscape
  • High level of development of client presentation materials, graphics, images, renderings, and material palettes
  • Delivers and guides team to produce a full set of interior design construction documents
  • Delivers and guides team to produce a full set of furniture specifications
  • Presents to clients with the Interior Design team
  • Is fully versed in Revit standards and procedures

 To succeed in this position…

 Knowledge and Experience:

  • Interior Design Degree
  • NCIDQ certified, or planning to take the exam
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of Interior Design experience in commercial architecture and construction field
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of commercial design
  • Strong graphical and presentation skills (proficiency in REVIT, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, 3D Modeling Software)

ARCHITECTURAL JOB CAPTAIN
ESG currently has an opening for an Architectural Job Captain that will serve on a variety of project types and will be primarily responsible for project documentation and coordination. The Job Captain supports the Project Architect and Project Manager and guides the extended team to create complete design and construction documents. This role facilitates communication between the project team and consultants and is responsible for project detailing, drafting, quality assurance, and scheduling. The candidate will be charged with assuring that the project meets building codes, budget, and all necessary deadlines in order to fully meet client expectations. We are looking for someone to join our highly creative, collaborative design group that is passionate about fostering our team spirit and growing with us.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Architectural Drafting or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
  • Minimum of three to five (3‐5) years of architectural experience.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and function comfortably, gain trust and deal
    effectively with a wide range of individuals including consultants, contractors and the ESG project team.
  • Strong background in base building and interiors projects, including LEED‐certified projects.
  • Knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures and experience resolving complex technical and design issues.
  • Ability to create technical documents that succinctly, thoroughly and accurately describe the work to be done.
  • Required proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
