Interior Design Intern
Paid Internship: Salary commensurate with experience
Hours per Week: 16-20
Employment Start Date: September 2017
Employment End Date: 3 month renewable
Your primary responsibility as Design Intern will be the organization and upkeep of the Interiors resource library. Additional library responsibilities will include consulting with sales representatives, updating our sales representative directory, ordering samples, researching product information and pricing, and creating finish boards. In addition, you may be asked to serve as a Design Intern on projects which are appropriate to your talents and experience. These additional responsibilities may give you the opportunity to design using Revit, Sketch-Up or the Adobe Creative Suite. Additionally, you may be asked to assist in production drawings, help write specifications in Excel and Spexx software, and engage in other design opportunities. You may also serve as a Task Manager under the direction of a Project Manager for certain projects where you have been identified as part of a larger team.
Incoming Junior year Interior Design students only (2019 expected graduation date) at a FIDER accredited school. Incoming Freshmen, Sophomore, Senior students, or recent graduates will not be considered.
