SENIOR ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER

Senior Architectural Designer
(Multiple Positions)

ESG is currently looking for a creative individual to join our team as a Senior Architectural Designer.  We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills who has the creativity to shape innovative, unique building designs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and plan architectural projects of varying types and scales 
  • Work with project principal and team in developing programming, conceptual designs, space planning, presentations, design development, and construction details
  • Provide creative leadership to multiple design teams through all phases of projects
  • Manage client relationships and team communication
  • Resolve complex design and technical issues
  • Coordinate with production and technical team members
  • Interact with other Architects and Designers within the firm to exchange ideas and provide support
  • Use Revit and/or SketchUp to produce 3D models and create project renderings using Enscape or similar programs
  • Lead and mentor design teams
  • Participate in business development efforts

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in architecture and professional license
  • 8+ years of project Architect experience within the architecture and construction field
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, building construction, building systems and site requirements
  • Ability to provide efficient and elegant design solutions
  • High level of conceptual creativity, innovative thinking and problem solving
  • Strong graphical and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to have a solid working relationship with clients
