Wells Fargo Northstar East

The Wells Fargo Northstar East project involved the creation of a 9,000 square foot trading floor, along with reception space, break areas and enclosed offices, all within an existing historic building in downtown Minneapolis.  Wells Fargo wanted to create an environment for this business unit that addressed their needs for open communication, sound control, and specialty lighting, and also provided a playful yet functional interior design.  Throughout the design process, ESG made use of 3D computer modeling, which assisted the client to better visualize this dynamic space.

The focal point for the trading floor area became the undulating “wave wall” that separates the trading floor itself from the break areas and public spaces.  ESG worked closely with Wells Fargo, to create a system of panels that would use a variety of materials, still meeting their needs for sound control, and giving a fresh, new identity to the space.
