David received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Minnesota and his Master of Architecture from Harvard University where he focused on urban design, architecture and urban redevelopment.

David has focused on the redevelopment design of cities and first-ring suburbs. In the process, he has developed a principle-based approach to exploring the relationship between large scale planning layers and specific architectural type, function, and expression.
